Through our Eat Local, Give Local initiative, Lazyguys donates 1% of all delivery and takeout sales from participating restaurants directly to Starkville Strong’s Second Servings program.

Second Servings rescues surplus food from local restaurants and redistributes it to families facing food insecurity, transforming what might otherwise go to waste into fresh, nourishing meals served right here in our community.

Eat Local, Give Local makes it easy for everyone to be part of the solution. Every time a customer places an order from a participating restaurant, they’re automatically helping support local hunger relief efforts. For restaurants, it’s a simple and meaningful way to give back and show customers that their business stands for something bigger.

What started as a small local effort has already helped fund hundreds of meals and is continuing to grow. With more restaurants joining and spreading the word, we’re working toward expanding Second Servings’ capacity so even more food can be rescued and more families can be served across the Golden Triangle.
